Full Day - Food, Farm and Wine tour

Meet passionate locals who love to share their knowledge on a bespoke, private full day foodie and farm tour adventure into the heart of the South West of Western Australia. Exploring this diverse farming region, we take the backroads, meeting farmers and producers along the way.

NEW for the winter months of June, July and August are truffle hunts, subject to availability.

The continuing change and beauty of this region never fails to impress, from undulating fields, forests and orchards, there will be plenty of scenery to enjoy and natural wonders to explore. 

We carry everything we need for the day allowing us to be flexible with our stops. Immerse yourself in unique seasonal experiences on the farms and meet the producers in their own back yard. 

DEPARTURE TIMES:  9am (may vary)

PICK UP: Busselton, Dunsborough, Yallingup, Cowaramup or Margaret River

Examples of this tour include (but are not limited to):

*  Visiting a variety of farms including olive grove, trout/marron farm, truffle farm (seasonal), avocados, chestnuts, lavender, fruit orchards, chicken farm, sheep, dairy farm, vineyards 

*  Meet the farmer

*  Farm walks, learn about farming practises, meet farm animals, watch the harvest 

*  Wine and food tastings, fruit picking (seasonal)

*  NEW Truffe hunts (June, July, August only), subject to availability. Experience the thrill of following the dogs on a truffle hunt followed by tastings with the farmer.

*  Hear about local history and stopping at places of interest along the way 

*  Options to explore a cave or lighthouse

*  Easy paced tour spending at least an hour with each producer

*  Morning and afternoon tea/coffee and snacks

*  Two course gourmet picnic lunch or winery lunch

INCLUDES: Entry fees, tastings of food and beverages (wine, gin, beer, non-alcoholic), morning and afternoon tea/coffee and snacks, two course picnic lunch (or winery lunch), meet the farmers and producers, pick up and drop off from your m, private guide and vehicle.

EXCLUDES: Personal purchases, extra food and drink purchases, child car seat hire (must be booked and paid in advance).

This tour is seasonally catered to give you many options to explore a wide variety of areas around the South West including the Southern Forests and the Margaret River Region. There will be plenty of opportunities on this tour to forage and purchase products.

PLEASE NOTE: The tour will depart any time between 7.30am and 9am, depending on the seasons and which region we will be visiting. You will receive an email from Forage Safaris confirming your collection time and place. We have a lot to show you and farmers like an early start!
